I have been babysitting and doing child care for the last decade. I started as a teenager and it was my full time throughout middle and high school. I went off to college at Azusa Pacific University and got my bachelors degree in biology. During summer break from college I became an EMT. I started working for two different EMT companies immediately after graduating in December of 2016. I work for a special event medical company all over Southern California and love it, but the work is not enough to pay my bills. I also worked for a year on an ambulance but took a step back to apply for Physician Assistant (PA) Programs around the US. During this time I became a substitute teacher to supplement the pay cut and have been doing that for the last 5 months. I got into a PA program that starts this August Read more (yay!) and have to move to the Bay Area in 3 short months. Unfortunately it is almost summer break which means I can't get work as a substitute teacher anymore and cannot start another full time job when I have to move in 3 months. Therefore, I am going back to my roots and hoping to find part time, flexible work as a babysitter, nanny, or dog sitter for the next three months. I love children, have a ton of experience with them, and even want to become a PA in a pediatric office after I finish my program.
