Jen’s Bio

"Jen's resume is rather lengthy - but worth the read - to the end! Very informative! Very detailed. Very Impressive!"

Are you looking for an energetic, qualified babysitter/nanny who is caring, nurturing, engaging and loves to play and have fun with children? You have found your match! I have over 29 years of childcare experience! I will always strive to be compatible with your parenting style. I am flexible, patient & communicative with the parent AND with the child. I studied child development and child psychology in college. I enjoy keeping children entertained by helping them stay busy, happy and content with fun activities, arts & crafts, story telling, educational toys & puzzles and of course coloring books! I speak some Spanish & a little Italian. I am fluent in baby sign language! CPR trained. I enjoy reading story books, arts & crafts, singing silly songs, playing games, bubbles, treasure hunts, drawing and making up fun songs on my ukulele. I provide nutritious meals and healthy snacks, while having endless fun & exploring engaging activities with your children. I love taking children on fun outings to the library, museums, the park, the zoo, swimming lessons. (...as you can see by all my fun profile photos!) I do not believe in punishment or hitting nor spanking nor physical discipline. Only rewarding, positive reinforcement! (...and a hug for encouragement to do better next time!) Little or no "vegging" in front of the tv. Lots of exercise, walks and outdoor activities, (I like to call 'em "outdoor adventures"!)
.........................................................................................
There is no parent too paranoid, picky or over-protective! I sincerely understand! I have 29 years of working experience as a baby-sitter and 22 years as a nanny! Working with various ages of newborns, toddlers and children as well as special needs/physical disabilities! Behavioral issues and separation anxiety will not scare me away. Twins/multiples are a breeze! The more the merrier! I have outstanding childcare references and a verifiable legal back ground check. During college I was an instructor for YMCA swim lessons. and was also a summer sports coach as well as a Sunday school teacher. I graduated from High School with honors and a perfect attendance award! No senior skip day for this girl! During college I was on the honor roll for maintaining a high GPA (grade point average) and I was also on the Dean's List/Scholarships!

Came through and did great

I was impressed with Jen's profile and contacted her for a date night while our regular nanny was out of town. She provided great care for our kids and was very warm and personable.

I will certainly use her again, should the need arise or our nanny need some time off.

I would recommend her to others!

Ms. Jen is the best!

We knew the minute we interviewed Ms. Jen that she was going to be great with the kids. She has an extensive background and years of experience in caring for children so we always know our kids (ages 2 and 4) are in good hands. She is extremely dependable and has made herself available at the last minute if we needed a sitter the next day. The kids always look forward to seeing her and enjoy their time with her, which makes the separation process much easier for us!
