I currently work part time in private home health and as a part-time nanny. I am in a full-time nursing program in LACC and at CSUCI. I will receive my Associates Degree in Nursing in December 2020 and my Bachelors Degree in Nursing in December 2021. I hope that I am able to replace my current job in hospice with a nanny position that is closer to my home. I have been in the medical field since I was 18 years old. First in geriatric care giving, then in Phlebotomy (drawing blood and working in a testing laboratory), and now in hospice. I started babysitting when I was 14 years old for my neighbors and still continue today. I have worked with kids of all ages from newborns to teens, including kids with special needs. I love working with kids and I plan on working in pediatrics one I am Read more an RN. I love to cook, especially healthy meals. I come from an Italian background where cooking is very important! I am very clean and organized. I love animals and nature. I have a valid drivers license, insurance, and a clean record. I am able to help transport kids. I am willing to help parents with work and travel if I am available to do so. I love taking the time to engage children in learning and being involved with the world, this includes taking them to museums, parks, play dates, classes, library, or just being involved with learning at home. I have my medical professional CPR certification and medical experience with kids in the field. I live a healthy lifestyle including being drug and smoke free, healthy eating, and actively working out. I am very flexible and always follow parental direction of how to treat and deal appropriately with their children. I also have a clear criminal record and am willing to have a background check upon hiring. As a person in the medical field, I have had all my vaccinations as a requirement to my medical license, as well as a required yearly TB test which has always been negative. I am willing to provide references once we have met, just to provide safety and privacy to my previous nanny families! Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions! I look forward to speaking with you soon :)
