Hi. My name is Tiana. I believe I am an appropriate candidate for this position. I have been watching children for the past seven years. I watched a young boy who is autistic on going from 2008-2013. I watched him mainly in the afternoons after he was done with school while his mom and dad were working. On occasion I would watch him in the mornings before school, over night, and for full weekends and weeks at some points because his mother's work required her to travel often. Prior to this position, I babysat for a young couple with two little girls as needed. I worked as a nanny/ personal assistant in San Francisco taking care of a 4 month old Monday through Friday as well as his a 3 year old sister occasionally. I am currently watching a young boy in Concord as well as doing on call work in Sonoma, Marin, Contra Costa, Solano, and Napa county. In addition to this, I have grown up as the oldest of five siblings, as well as having four younger cousins. I also have a nephew who is 14 months old. I always have had a love for children and enjoy spending time with them and getting to know them and their families. I have many activities prepared to do with children of all ages and genders and come up with new ones as needed. I encourage reading, outside play, and music greatly. I am able to take care of meals, packing school items, homework, tutoring, laundry, cleaning, errands, grocery shopping, and pet care. Any other assistance needed by me can be discussed further and accommodated as necessary. I am studying nursing and child development part time. I have had tons of great academic success over the years. I am also First Aid and CPR certified. Furthermore, I have experience working in a Pediatrics department at Kaiser for 9 months.
