Hello! My name is Victoria. I've been taking care of children for 15+ years, ages infant to teenager. I first began taking care of children in college, first as an after school care provider, helping with homework and such. During this time I also did overnight babysitting while the parents did night shifts and worked in a church nursery. I moved to LA and began working with different families, continuing after school care and adding daytime care for toddlers and infants, as well as sick days for many families. I’m currently living in East Nashville now, my companion in life is Jeremiah, a sweet mutt who found me at the lake one day and decided he was my dog. My personal activities include yoga, hiking, all things music and dance, being a constant student in my own independent studies, hair and make-up design and application, plus much more. My contribution, Read more or available resources perhaps, are varied and diverse. I have been singing, acting, dancing, drawing, playing piano since I can't even remember, I also have a degree in Music, and I have excellent math, language, and science knowledge having done all AP courses in high school and on into college. I encourage reading, above all, to help a child's mind grow and expand. I encourage breaking out in dance parties to ensure we are always having a good time. I encourage independent thought with one simple moral, "Do to others what you would have them to do you". To me, that's the golden rule and is a great compass for all interactions and relationships. I encourage taking responsibility for yourself, from picking up your clothes and dishes after you're finished with them to encouraging the kiddos to have an opinion and making sure they are educated in that opinion.
