We found Patsy here on Sittercity and we are so happy that we did! We have a 5 month old baby boy and when Patsy comes over, he just lights up! She has such a fun and positive spirit and he really responds to it. On top of being extremely qualified and experienced, Patsy is also just a pleasure to be around. As new parents, we were obviously nervous to leave our son with someone new, but Patsy made us feel very comfortable. She's very commited to meeting our needs as parents. She went through our schedule and routine with us in a very detailed way to make sure she was taking care of our boy the way we would want and not throwing him off his usual routine. When we return home, she has a detailed list for us that breaks down everything that happened while we were out (when he ate, when he pooped, what activities they did, etc.). And to top it all off, she uses her extra time to tidy the place up. She has folded our laundry, washed dishes, straightened up, etc. It's so nice to come home to a clean home, and more importantly, a very happy baby. We would recommended Patsy wholeheartedly.

Patsy is a phenomenal lady! I was very nervous to have anyone babysit our little one but felt very comfortable with Patsy at first meeting. She definitely has it under control but can take direction at the same time. I trust Patsy 110% and would recommend her to anyone that has anxieties about their first time needing a babysitter. We feel incredibly blessed to have Patsy as our on-call sitter. She is the first person to ever watch our child that wasn't a family member. She really goes above and beyond expectations of a regular babysitter and is way more of a nanny than a sitter. Patsy is very musical and loves to play music, read, play and engage your child. She is great at making dinner too and will text photos to you while you are out. I loved seeing how happy and content my daughter was while we were gone. It made our date night so much more enjoyable knowing our baby was enjoying her night too. I could not recommend a more amazing woman to care for your children! Thanks Patsy, you are an angel!

I highly recommend Patsy! She sat for our 5 year old and 9 month old boys and she was a pro! I was worried about leaving the baby with a new sitter, but once I began talking to Patsy I was immediately relieved. She is so sweet and has a great personality. My 5 year old woke up the next day asking about her. I look forward to having her stay with the boys again soon.

I joined Sittercity to find some reliable options for more irregular sitting jobs and we found a lot more than we bargained for. The sitter that I chose, Patsy M., was amazing and to call her a babysitter would be something of a disservice. The way I described it to my wife is that I feel almost a little guilty because it seems like we're having one of the pre-K teachers from our 3-year old son's school, whom we respect and adore, over to our house to watch him for a few hours in the evening so we could go out on a mid-week date. Patsy arrived promptly at the time we had decided upon and immediately started building rapport with our son. She was down on the floor at his eye level and introducing herself to him. In a few minutes he had forgotten about us and was taking "Ms. Patsy" around the house and showing her his things and his room, etc. As he's starting to show her his things, she's starting to inquire about the things that he wants to show, "what color is your drum?" or "how many trucks are there?" It immediately took on the flavor of interaction, communication and learning. We took the opportunity to leave and then came back to a similar scene. Our son was fed and happily playing/learning/teaching with Ms. Patsy and frankly he wasn't that impressed that we were home. We had a list of all the activities that they had done while we were away, which was full of music (which we expected with her extensive background) and art. He was upset to see Ms. Patsy go and has asked after her since. We will be using Patsy at every opportunity that her availabilities match up with ours and couldn't recommend her more highly to other families as well. Our experience with her was exactly what I think most families come to Sittercity trying to find. We have since used Patsy a number of other times including longer-stay nanny work, and we couldn't be happier or recommend her more highly.

I would recommend Patsy in a heartbeat! She has been watching my son for about a month now and my entire family has fallen in love with her! My son lights up when he sees her now and that makes me feel wonderful. It is hard enough having to leave him to go to work, but knowing that he is happy and well cared for makes it a little easier. Patsy always leaves us a detailed note outlining everything my son did throughout the day - with what he ate, what he played, when he napped and anything new that she noticed about him. It makes my husband and I feel comfortable and happy to know he is in such good hands. Patsy is absolutely wonderful! We are lucky to have her!
