Motivated to instill good values and respect within children. Skilled with providing a fun atmosphere for children, while maintaining authority as well as creating schedules and providing genuine, loving care. I like to treat each child as if they are my own. The Jones Family 2013-Oct 2014 Megan and Alex Jones have a beautiful young girl, Olive, who is almost 3. She’s a very energetic and spritely young girl as well as incredibly intelligent for her age. I prepared healthy meals for her as well as provided her with medication when she was sick. One time I noticed her ear was bothering her and brought it to her parents’ attention. As it turned out, she had an ear infection, and I was able to give her the medication she needed. Once their second child Micayla was born, I helped her with bringing Olive to school and back. I would help Read more run errands such as picking up groceries, medications, taking Olive to sewing classes – where I would sit in and watch to make sure everything was okay. They recently moved to Wisconsin, which is why I no longer look after them. The Gordon Family 2013- 2014 Affectionately cared after two girls, ages 2 and 4. These are two highly imaginative and energetic girls. Their favorite pastimes are playing make believe and naturally with my theatre background, I have no problem with this. They are also on a strict diet\vitamin regime so I have to make sure they take their gummies as well as preparing them healthy meals. I entertain them at home as well as take them to the park, dance classes, occasional movies, and yoga class. The Winn Family 2009-present Peyton and Zachary, now ages 13 and 7 are boys I’ve looked after for a 5 years. I no longer need to look after them on a regular basis because Peyton is old enough to look after Zachary himself, but they occasionally have me spend the nights when the parents go on business trips\vacations. These boys are extremely athletic and enjoy playing a myriad of sports. Growing up, I was also involved in a lot of sports; so I’m always willing to play basketball and throw catch with them. Peyton also recently started football, so I take him to his practices and games when their parents are unable to do so. I promote good sportsmanship and fairness. Another hobby of mine is helping kids study for their tests. Peyton has ADHD so I have experience with providing him with his medication as well as sitting him down for two
