Teaching has been a tremendous part of my life. I've taught elementary school for 16+ years, have a Masters in Reading, and absolutely love to read books to and with children of all ages. I come from big family and enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews, ranging in age from 1.5 - 14. Creating a fun, warm, safe environment is key to nurturing children and I can't think of enough great things to say about reading and enjoying / creating quality time with children. I'm a lover of the outdoors, too, so walks, playgrounds & picnics are definitely OK with me. I'm comfortable with prepping and following your schedule for feeding, bath time and bedtime. I have a car and a clean driving record, am a non-smoker and maintain Basic Life Support certification CPR (adult, child & infant) and Basic Fist Aid Certification. I am new to sittercity Read more and would appreciate the opportunity to start building my profile. My current work schedule is quite flexible; I am available often during week nights and weekends. I am a warm, fun, tidy, prompt, responsible sitter, and would love the opportunity to meet your family. Please let me know!
