Hi Folks! Please check out my 13 books on character education and values. You can google my name Etan Boritzer, and visit my website www.veronicalanebooks.com. Obvious question: If I am a published author, why am I looking for a babysitter/manny job? Short answer: Book sales are currently slow and I need to augment expensive LA living costs. My qualifications: 1) I LOVE KIDS! That's why I write for them. However, the main reason I love kids (besides that they are so smart, feeling and cute - most of the time) is as Audrey Hepburn said when she was Goodwill Ambassador at the UN, "Kids are the only hope!" I know that with proper education, kids can help us create a kinder and more peaceful global society. 2) I HELP WITH THE HOMEWORK! While I do not have teacher’s credentials, I have taught at every school level from Pre-K to university Read more over the past 12 years, locally, nationally and internationally, visiting about 35 schools per year to present my Author Readings and Young Writers Workshops. I am an true educator and tutor, and kids love my fun teaching style! There are Youtube videos I can refer you to that show my interactions with students, teachers and parents. 3) I HAVE LOTS OF EXPERIENCE IN ALL AREAS! (And local references you can check.) I have babysat and been a Manny here in Los Angeles during some of my other in-between times. I have my Live Scan. I am punctual and reliable. I drive a safe and insured vehicle (Toyota) and I pick up kids from pre-school and/or elementary school on time. I am an excellent and healthy cook (all cuisines). I am extremely orderly. I am a yoga teacher (teach 3 classes weekly locally and guest-teach nationally). I can play any sport with the kids, or just run around in the park and have fun. 4) I AM A MENSCH. If you don’t know that word, it means someone who does the right things, and even goes out of his way to it if needed. Hope to hear from you!
