I recently became semi-retired and as a new Grandmother of my one and only Grandson Ryder (he just turned one year old) I relocated from Oregon to Vista CA to be near him. I am seeking daycare opportunities to supplement my income. Being Ryder's part time daycare provider in my daughter's home I re-discovered my love and passion for caring for infants and toddlers. I currently commute by bus and train and only want assignments in private homes where convenience and comfort for the child is ideal. I do need flexibility with the schedule as I will be continuing to watch my own Grandson as well as taking on other part time assignments as they fit my schedule and the schedule of the customer. I am a certified Parent Effectiveness Training Instructor so I do have education in communication and problem solving with children and families. I am also considering Read more returning to school for my Early Childhood degree to advance my knowledge and career in this field.
