I have just completed my studies at Holy Names University. I have been a babysitter for six years now, and I have a really fun time caring for kids of all ages. I love their youth, energy, and most of all their interest in learning. I have babysat for kids as young as 5 months old to as old as 12 years old. I am comfortable taking responsibility of a child of any age. I myself have a little brother, whom I have grown up treating him and taking care of him as if he were my own child. When I do babysit for others, I hand wash any dishes that have been used, and any other household chores that have been requested of me. I have never had a pet, but I have taken care of pets while families leave on trips. I have volunteered at the Monument Crisis Read more Center, and at the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). I am fluent in Spanish. I love to participate in any of the child's favorite activities, in order to connect with the child and make sure they are comfortable while his/her parent(s) is away.

I've been using Sittercity for a few years now and I love when I find a great sitter! We were in San Francisco for a long weekend and had a party planned when our sitter fell through. I had to scramble to find someone for Saturday night and then an angel named Ashley appeared. There were complicated logistics but suffice to say, Ashley arrived prompt, drove my 4 year old son back to where we were staying, and made sure he had a great adventure. I received periodic pictures throughout the afternoon and evening from the aquarium, walking around the wharf, at a park and then finally playing legos in the evening. My son was in great hands and I stopped feeling guilty around the 2nd picture! She's wonderful and responsible and I highly recommend her.
