Hello! I am a mother to an adorable baby boy but also have years of experience as a nanny and have worked with children ranging from birth-high school as an employee with the Los Angeles Unified School District and Long Beach Unified. I love children and have pursued my Bachelor's in Liberal Studies only to turn around and take on coursework in Child Development because that is where my true passion lies. I love working with children and helping them build their strengths and confidence along side tutoring young minds. As a daughter of a wonderful woman- my mom, was also a nanny and I learned from her the importance of making children feel safe and secure when their parents are working or away. I helped her care for three children who are now part of our family due to the bond we had caring for them. I am called Read more tia (aunt) by all three and am a godmother to one of the girls. Their parents are both educators and I have babysat overnight when they have gone out of town. As a mother, I know that children are precious gems and I hope that my experience as a teaching assistant, college aide advisor and catechism teacher will allow you to consider me for your coming positions as we know, children have needs and the income will help me provide for my own.
