Hello NYC families! For 10+ years I worked as a nanny (both live-in and out) for a number of families. I started my nanny career in Philly for an 8 year old boy. A year into this position I was asked if I wanted to move to LA with them- which I happily did. The next family I worked for was a high profile family that required me to be a live-in nanny with the availability to travel from coast to coast and internationally. My last full time position was with a family that had twins and baby girl. I worked for them for over 5 years (through the pandemic). Over the summer of 2022 I babysat for my neighbors picking up daytime and weekends to help them out. I love spending time with kids. I like playing, being creative and encouraging imagination. Harmony has been a Nanny/Companion/Teacher to my 10 year old son for the last 2.5 years. She moved out to the LA area with us from Philadelphia and I can only say how grateful I am to have had her as a caregiver to my child. Harmony is creative, flexible and motivated. She is organized and neat but "does not sweat the small stuff" She transported my son to and from school or home-school cooportives on a regular basis, prepared meals, tidied the house, did his laundry and help him organize his room and complete his homework. She engages and calms children through reading to them and plays virtually every board game known to man and because she is patient, flexible and calm, she is able to work with children who struggle with anxiety and frustration. Harmony is an educator and her adventurous and courageous nature and global curiosity was a wonderful gift in our household. She took my son on overnight and daytrips that he will never forget. Harmony is a rare gem and we will miss her when she decides to seek another adventure. My son has grown so much under her care. He adores her and will always remain in contact with her. Harmony is magical!
