I have lived in the beautiful state of Colorado for over twenty years. I am married to my husband of 30+ years and have three grown children, one dog and 2 cats. When my youngest child was an infant, I opened my own business as a Licensed Professional Child Care Provider. I cared for infants, preschool and elementary school children in my home for four years. By law, I was required to take First Aid and CPR classes as well as an occasional Child Development class (Red Rock Community College). I enjoyed being a child care provider and my own children always had someone to play with. When the needs of my family changed, I closed my business and was a stay at home mom for a few years. Since 2006, I have been working for the Jefferson County Public Schools as a Paraprofessional helping children with reading, writing and Read more math skills. I also assisted students with recess, music and art. I have worked with both elementary and high school students. I have a B.S. degree in Home Economics from Oregon State University. My interests include my family, photography, drawing and playing the keyboard. I am a "go with the flow" type of person . I am dependable, caring and honest. I enjoy doing creative and fun activities.
