I have happily raised 3 kids to adulthood. I enjoyed raising them and spending time with their friends and classmates throughout all ages and stages over the years. I now also love being a grandmother to a preschooler and an infant. I have a full-time professional job, but it comes with very flexible hours to allow me to provide quality part-time child care on occasional weekdays, weeknights, weekends and after school hours. I originally began providing child care as a young teen and continued babysitting and nannying throughout my college years. After graduating, I enjoyed caring for the children of my friends and relatives on numerous occasions. Once I had my children I was also involved in a babysitting co-op with other moms/families. I have also volunteered with several child-centered organizations: caring for infants, toddlers & preschoolers at a Crisis Nursery, as a Girl Scout leader for 6 years and Read more as a classroom helper in local elementary and middle schools - including tutoring, chaperoning and as a classroom & library assistant providing supplemental help with reading groups. In addition to creating a secure and fun environment while caring for children, I can also provide transportation, homework help, meal preparation & pet care. I am energetic, reliable, creative, patient, kind and confident that I will have positive interactions with your children. Thank you!
