I am looking for a summer job spent around children and the outdoors, that could possibly turn into a part time job in the fall. I value connection and the presence it takes to understand a child's behavior while supporting their individual needs. My goal is to promote a creative, active, loving and safe environment. After studying Art Education at Florida State, I interned at the Hacienda Girls Ranch, where I was responsible for promoting healthy living practices to 9 teenage girls, while incorporating expressive techniques. Later I moved to New York City and pursued experiences that involved education, art, and caring for children. I was a nanny in a family with 2 young children (2 and 6) for 4 years, while babysitting part-time for other families and teaching cooking classes with Kulinary Kids. These experiences have taught me responsibility, safety (CPR certified), and commitment.
