I am originally from Brazil and have been in the Colorado for 4 years now. I traveled quite a bit…I spent some time in Australia, Argentina, England, Portugal and NY. My traveling experiences awakened my curiosity and admiration for different cultures and ideas. I learned how to adapt easily to every situation and circumstance and this is probably why I have such an eclectic background. During my first Degree in International Relations in Brazil, I discovered my passion for Human Rights by working with children at risk. I was first part of an after school program and had a class with 8 kids. After that I worked at a nursery for children of homeless parents. And because of those experiences I decided to further my knowledge in the field with a post-graduation from Coimbra University in Portugal. In 2010 I moved to Albany NY for a one year internship with Read more the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. During that period I babysat for a family with 6 kids (ages between 1 and 10). I had a wonderful experience with both jobs and made great friends. In 2012 when I moved to CO my sister and I opened a bakery. We had a beautiful shop and did weddings until this September. I work there from Wednesday (2pm) through Saturday and I am looking for something to fill out my Mondays and Tuesdays. Babysitting will be the perfect fit for my schedule.
