Hi! My name is Alissa and I am 23 years old. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a major in neurobiology. I am currently a first year medical student. I have been babysitting since I was in high school and continued to provide childcare during college. For 2.5 years, I worked as a personal caretaker/physical therapy specialist-- my client required 24/7 care due to an anoxic brain injury that resulted in her being severely disabled. I have experience with working with emotional outbursts, constructive redirection, and engaging in creative activities. I also have experience with infants, twins, toddlers, early childhood, and pre adolescents. With the school schedule I will have, I am a better fit for families looking for an occasional sitter/date night sitter.
