Growing up I had a live-in nanny from the time I was 2 until I was 10 and it made such a difference in my life, I want to be able to do that for a family. I started babysitting when I was 14 and I occasionally babysit for two sets of families from my church with 4 kids with ages from 6 months to 7 years old. I love those kids like they're my family. I can change diapers, play dress up and be anybody they want me to be but when it comes to disrespect I don't tolerate it. I would never lay a hand on a child but time out has shown to be effective in my experience. I believe kids should have fun with a nanny/babysitter but should also have structure and learn manners. I love babysitting and would love the chance to become a nanny.
