I first started taking care after people with special needs my freshman year of high school. I was a teacher assistant for the special needs classroom at grand view high school in Aurora, Colorado. I really loved it and moved to Seattle, Washington and did the same thing my sophomore year, and ended up getting a really good recommendation from my teacher that one of the students were looking for a babysitter after school. I took the job, and babysat a kid named Kyle (15) who has autism. I had worked for this wonderful family for about a year and moved back to Colorado sadly. I’ve been taking care of people with special needs for about 4 years now. I have experience in special needs such as autism, epilepsy, Cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injuries. I love my job and would love to help plenty more people in the world!
