I’ve always loved children especially since I came from a big family. I’m the oldest of 87 grandkids on one side of my family so of course I was always asked to help. At 17 when I started as a substitute I made up my mind that I wanted to pursue a career that involved kids. I’ve been in the field since then, my full time job as a nanny requires lots of patience and love. I love watching the kiddos grow and learn and I get a sense of accomplishment when I hear them count or sing a song because I know I helped them. I love reading books and watching them perform challenging tasks because their smile after they accomplish something is so rewarding. I’ve worked at two centers one where I was allowed to work with infants from six weeks old and I really enjoyed the everyday Read more tasks that I was required to perform in order to accommodate to each individual child. I have many references from the center I worked at as I do still babysit for many of the families that I used to work with there, my job as a full time nanny has been really rewarding. I have met some very great families who I’ve formed very close bonds with and on occasion I babysit for them weekday evenings, weekends and sometimes even overnight. I’m bilingual and love teaching the kids Spanish and the little sign language I know, I love challenges so if a family asks me to teach something I’m not familiar with I get on it so I can learn. We learn something new everyday and I love completing challenges that can help me with a better future. I’m reliable and I’m almost always free on weekends to take on a babysitting gig. I don’t like to bother parents on their free time but I will occasionally send pictures and quick texts regarding their child/childrens well being while with me. I own a miniature poodle and will dog sit for one of the families I work with currently on occasion, I’m a dog person and love interacting with them. I’m always happy to help around the house and with whatever the families need help with, I want families to feel comfortable asking me for any kind of help. I’m responsible, organized, nurturing, loveable and very patient. I am cpr and first aid certified, have my own means of transportation and if a family needs to relocate homes for the evening I have my place to offer for childcare services. I am also FULLY VACCINATED
