I am searching for the opportunity to connect with families during the most meaningful and overwhelming times in their life. I am a compassionate and nurturing person with the hopes of making a difference in not only the lives of others but also of my own. To be of aid to mothers to be, newborns, new mothers and their families. I am a Certified Newborn Specialist who is also certified in infant and adult CPR and First aid. I also keep all necessary immunization shots to keep healthy near infants. I am a loving mother who has the experience, understanding, and empathy of what other new mothers may need and what they may be going through, during pregnancy birth and the postpartum period. I am currently in the progress of certification as a labor doula, and becoming more knowledgeable of the pregnancy and labor process, as well as lactation and Read more breastfeeding assistance. As a newborn specialist I will assess each individual situation and its needs. I will keep a log of the baby’s habits and helping to create a healthy routine for baby and family. I will also care and nurture the child, giving infant massage, bathing, feeding, diapering, keeping nursery clean, baby laundry etc. I can help with sleep schedule when age appropriate, and engage in developmental playtime and communication with the child. There are many aspects of care that a newborn may need. Keeping communication with all members involved is very important to me. I also can provide services during the prenatal period, helping to prepare for birth and for the coming baby. During the postpartum and recovery time there are a large variety of services that can help the transition into motherhood be a healthy and smooth one.
