I have been a geriatric nurse for the last 15 years. I love my job but am looking for supplemental income. I have a very social 4 year old and would enjoy helping out with before or after school care. Prior to nursing I received an associates degree in early childhood education from Colorado mountain college. In the 90s I ran my own child care business in steamboat springs. I moved back to Denver in 1999 to work at the university of Denver's fisher early learning center where I worked as a toddler teacher. I entered nursing school in the fall of 2000. As a nurse whose shifts often start at 6 am I know the anxiety of finding reliable propel to cover morning care and the importance of setting your child for a good day.
