I've spent many years babysitting - I've watched the kids of family members, friends of mine, and also the children of people that have been referred to me by folks who were happy with my abilities :) I love being around kids (especially infants!), and am flexible with a variety of care-giving situations. Through all of the jobs I've held, I've worked closely with children, and have encountered many families with special needs that have helped me gain more understanding about the standards of care that I can provide. Spending time outside and reading are two of my passions. As I'm currently working as a secretary at a DPS elementary school, my school year schedule is set, but I have a significant amount of free time in the summer that I'd like to fill with dedicated childcare. I'd love to find a family that is looking for more consistent care, Read more so I can really get to know them and their child(ren), but I would also be willing to work as needed.
