I grew up in a large family, and often cared for my younger siblings (9 and 14 years younger). I worked as a camp counselor for three summers for grades 1st - 3rd. I cared for groups of 12-18 children, keeping them safe and entertained on campus and field trips. I babysat for a family my first two years in college, picking up after school and watching a 4 year old for a couple hours each day. I also worked as an after school counselor for all elementary school grades my last 6 months in college at Florida State. I graduated Florida State with an English Literature degree, so I love to read. I am also pretty comfortable with Spanish. I am currently in a grad school program to become an elementary school teacher, where I'll be interning with Pine Lane Elementary for the year while getting my masters degree.
