I started babysitting in middle school for neighborhood families. I stayed with a couple of families into early college. Throughout university I volunteered in a children's home and ran outdoor programs for a summer camp in Maine. I also volunteered with an elementary after school program, growing small raised beds. I have regularly held certifications in CPR, first aid, and AED. I am current on my Wilderness first aid, CPR, & AED. I worked as a certified lifeguard several times throughout high school and university, however I am not current on that certification now. I am a certified raft guide and hold professional certification for ski instructing. After university I did a term of service with Americorp and then moved here to CO. I taught children's ski school, then adaptive (primarily working with children with physical and developmental disabilities) ski and ride. I summered as a counselor for a children's Read more therapeutic horseback riding camp. I've spent a lot of time working with children in teaching, recreational, and therapeutic capacities. I have a passion for working with children and young adults. I bring with me experience, compassion, unending patience, and boat loads of energy. I've just moved down to the city to pursue career opportunities with more longevity. Unfortunately, this means I will no longer be working with children. So, if you feel I might be a good fit for your family I would love the opportunity to meet you all.

Casey has been babysitting for our 1 yo son for about 5 months now. She is a wonderful person, and she is absolutely wonderful with our kid. He thinks she's great. She's very active, takes him for walks, plays with him, and generally does a great job. She is smart, reliable, kind, and also awesome with our critters.
