I am a fun loving person and enjoy spending time with kids (and grownups!) I have a M.S.Ed in Behavioral Education and have been a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) for 8 years. I have worked in public schools, private schools and family homes directly and indirectly with children aged 2-22 for 12 years and now am in a position with an organization (Firefly Autism) as a Clinical Director and although I love my role, I don't get to spend as much time with kids. I miss being around kids as much and getting to play and be silly (while having firm expectations!!), and although I have accomplished quite a lot in my career, there is unfortunately a pretty low ceiling as far as income in the world of education/special education, and I am trying to eliminate my debt and could use some extra dough! I moved out here from Read more Boston about 3 years ago, where I used to babysit for a family almost every weekend for 2 kids (aged 3 and 7) and am at a place where I can handle a similar time commitment now.
