Amie was able to help me in a pinch and upon her coming to the house, my son opened the door and grabbed her hand and just lead her to to start playing like she was his best friend. She is very sweet and able to help last min. We will continue to use Amie as long as she has availability for us!

I typically give everyone the benefit of the doubt, knowing that stuff happens in life and as such, you might be late or need to reschedule. That being said, families are busy and we'd like sitters who are responsive and reliable. I posted a 1x overnight job. I liked Amie's background and contacted her via the site and text, she was quick to respond via text. We had a nice phone call, where I inquired about her availability and interest. We attempted to set up an in-person appointment 4x. I had to reschedule one as I was running late taking care of some unexpected personal matters. Amie notified me 30-60 minutes before two of the appointments, that she needed to reschedule and then on the fourth, she no-showed. Amie did respond via the site, and was apologetic after the Sunday no show, she stated she was sitting and the father was late coming home and her cell phone apparently malfunctioned.

i have met Amie through the Sittercity while travelling to Denver, CO during holidays. We had a very happy outcome, and I do recommend this lady to other parents seeking childcare. Amie was prompt with initial communication, detailed about terms of expected care, and accommodating. She also was punctual. Kids were a bit cranky when she arrived (due to a long day in town), and Amie in a snap made them giggle and chat about their day. They were asking next morning, when Ms Amie is coming back. Thank you for making our time in Denver stress free!
