Emily’s Bio Hello! My name is Emily Watson and I am 26 years old. I was born in Westminster, CO but raised in the Washington DC area. For the past 4 years I have been a general education teacher for 5th grade and 6th grade, specializing in math and writing. I absolutely love teaching, and I am looking to make some extra this summer while I am on summer break! I have a minor in special education and am very comfortable working with children with special needs. For the previous 8 summers, I have been a caretaker and nanny for both a child with down syndrome as well as a fill in babysitter for families of all ages and sizes. I am passionate about children and keeping their hands busy, rather than their eyes zoned on the tv screen. I am very pet friendly and own a bloodhound/german shepherd mix. Read more I love all animals, but am most comfortable in a home with dogs. I do not mind helping out with walking or feeding dogs if that would help out! I am also open to tutoring while babysitting if that is something your child could benefit from. Tutoring hours would be negotiated for an additional fee as it takes planning and lots of prep work for it to make an impact. I currently live in Denver, CO and absolutely love it. I am willing to commute to your house as well as drive your children around town if they have summer camp, swim lessons, play dates or trips to downtown Elitch Gardens!
