I have 40 years experience working with children birth through age 12. I began babysitting at the age of 12, caring for infants and young children throughout my middle school through college years. After having my own children in my thirties, I began doing after school care for friends’ children while they were still at work as I was a stay at home mom. During this time, I also provided childcare for infants through 5th grade during church events and worship services. In 2010, I returned to school and completed my Early Childhood Teacher Certification as well as becoming Director qualified. Currently I am an Early Childhood Teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools. I have been teaching 3 to 5 year olds over 5 years now and thoroughly enjoy teaching and working with this age group.
