Most of my experience comes from working with one family. There were 3 wonderful children, 2 boys and 1 girl. When I first started to help care for their children it was mostly just babysitting on the weekends for their first born. We became very close, then as the family had more kids I would help more during the week. I stayed with this family for about 5-6 years and by that time the mother was able to stay full time with the children so I was no longer needed. I helped mostly with feeding, cleaning, changing diapers, playing with the children, and coming up with activities that would help engage the children in fun play. While at this time I am not CPR certified I am more than will to go get certified. I am a current CSU student going for my bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies. Read more My main course work is based on child development, I have taken many courses on this and most recently I have been engaged in a course that discusses fun actives that can help the child develop skills. Other than this major form of babysitting I have also done other babysitting jobs mostly just one nights with children when their parents have gone out for the night.
