My name is Betsy Pruznick, I am a senior at Fossil Ridge HS in Fort Collins. I am CPR, First Aid, and Blood-Loss Control certified. During the Fall semester this year, I was an intern at the Boys and Girls Club in Fort Collins. This internship gave me 130 hours of working with groups of kids. I learned lots of safe and fun games for kids. Last summer I babysat at the Fort Collins Islamic Center. This has given me 60 hours of experience working with groups of kids. Although, I don’t do this much during the school year, I volunteer with the Fort Collins Adaptive Recreation Opportunities program which helps disabled children and adults participate in recreational activities. This has given me some experience working with disabled persons. I became a caregiver because I love working with kids. I love helping them learn new things and grow. I think Read more it is amazing that most kids are always happy and have a lot of energy. I feel that I am a good caregiver because I really focus on finding ways to connect with the kids in order to build a better relationship. A little about me is that I love filmmaking and the outdoors. I am currently in a 3rd year film class at my school and am considering pursuing that as a career. I am on my schools Track and Field Team and try to be very involved with my community.
