I started taking care of children when at the age of 14. By the time I was 18, my mother's boss and his wife would have me babysit their 3 children during the day every summer until I left for college. I would drive them to their summer programs and play dates. They were great as kids and now as adults going off to college they are wonderful! After college, I taught for one at a program called the Youth Development Center in Winchester, Virginia. The children there ranged from 6 years of age to 17. Everyday I made lesson plans that evolved cooking, theater, math, science, gymnastics and outdoor activities. They were great kids and even though most of them were very small, they taught me so much about themselves and myself. I am now a cook at Blue Agave Grill and I am ready for a change. I Read more would love to go back to taking care of children! I am also a lover of Disney movies! :)
