Hi! My name is Brooke, and I am looking for a babysitting job. I am entirely negotiable on the terms. I am looking for something that would be nights or weekends. I am a graduate of Colorado State University, for both my undergrad and graduate degree. I am currently working in the accounting industry. When I became the appropriate age my mom enrolled me in babysitting classes and I became a certified babysitter in high school. I have experience with an in-home daycare for children (4 mo.- 5 yrs.) where I gained daycare experience and regulations for all ages. Since then I have been a babysitter for several different families. My sister is also a nanny for a family, and I help as an 'emergency/backup nanny'. I have experience in overnight care as well. I love animals! I have two kitties, Muffin and Gia, whom I adore. I also have two sweet golden retrievers named Bailey and Bella. I love to read, dance, and be outside. I recently learned how to crochet as well. I am always learning, always teaching myself things. Where I do not have knowledge or experience, I will train myself in my free time. You know that question, "if you were stranded on an island, what one thing would you bring with you?" ...I would bring a library! (That's considered one "thing" right?) I believe that babysitters should be interactive with the children they watch. I do not think it is appropriate to sit them in front of the TV just to 'occupy them' or make casual phone calls while working with children. I am a patient and loving person, and I believe that the adults that children are surrounded with will have the greatest impact on their lives, so why not make sure it's a meaningful one? I am certified in CPR/AED and First Aid. Besides Monday - Friday, 8-5, I am available last minute!
