My Name is Ashley. I am a 26 year old female with 7 years of childcare/nanny experience for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I have recently moved to Grand Junction from the Denver area to be closer to my family and looking for work. I have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and have a reliable vehicle. Over the years of hands on experience as a Nanny and Babysitter at private households. I truly love an enjoy spending quality time with children, rather it’s indoor or outside. I love them with my whole heart and treat them all as if they were my own. I am a cool tempered person with a special ability to remain calm in hectic situations, specifically I am skilled at providing care for infants such as changing diapers, preparing meals, and feeding and comforting them. I am able to maintain the Read more play area plan and apply activities and serve snacks. Protecting children from any potential harm. I also know that not every day is all fun and games. I don't believe in violence but I do believe in time outs. Time adjusted according to the child's age. I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children with different stages of development. I have the ability to care for each child individually and paying close attention to their individual needs. For the busy parent I also have the ability to do light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, shopping, running errands, assist in potty training and taking children to activities if necessary. I am open to any and all responsibilities that may be requested or needed. I am looking for a long term position with a family and feel it is beneficial for the children and the parents. As time passes, I get to know the family more, create a stronger relationship and be apart of the family.
