Hi my name is Jessica, I have 4 kids. I have babysat sense I was a young teenager. As I got older I did childcare in my home, on and off (not licensed). This allowed me the chance to be at home when my kids were young, and I needed to supplement the household income, until returning to work. My previous job, as well as my current one, gave me experience and training with youth with behavioral issues, learning disabilities, and other low cognitive issues, including speech cognition. As well as, fetal alcohol syndrome, high spectrum autism, mental health problems like, SI, depression, anger, ADHD, self harm like cutting, highly sexualized behaviors, traumas from physical and/or sexual abuse. And many other traumatic events that's these youth have experienced. I passed multiple background checks like FBI, CBI, fingerprinting, DHS in order to obtain this position. I also have cared for elderly Read more for many years, in home care, assisted living, and locked units. I have training in Alzheimer's and Dementia, and do quite well with these clients. I am certified in FIRST-AID/CPR, CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) QMAP (Qualified Medication AAdministration Person). I can care for all ages of kids, confidently. Experienced in breast fed babies as well. I don't mind pets, and know how to clean and cook. I have a great deal of patience and enjoy caring for kids. I believe kids can overcome anything, and/or be anything. They just need to hear it, and someone to believe in them. As well as, let them be a kid and enjoy it while it lasts!
