Allow me to introduce myself I am Emily-Jane Newbern from Rome, Georgia. I choose to move to Colorado to go to college at Colorado Christian University to play college soccer. I am eighteen years old and parents refer to me as a great babysitter. I am the oldest of three sisters and have always enjoyed being around children. I am responsible and fun at the same time. I enjoy being outside and playing games with children. I have grown up babysitting for my parents with my two young sisters. Also I keep my cousins baby all the time. Stinky dippers for life! For the past 3 summers I have worked as a coach for the youth soccer camps at Darlington School. I want to work with children because I believe God has gifted me with the personality to work well with them and I desire to build relationships with the Read more youth of this area. For the past four years of high school I have babysat for numerous parents. Three of my favorites babysitting jobs are; The Milford Boys, The Hembree’s Princess and The Evan’s bunch. The Milford’s have three precious boys from the ages 14 to 8. I can’t tell you how much time was spent out side throwing the football or riding bikes. It was definitely a fun adventure every time I was over especially homework time, but we always got it done and had a good time doing it. We also ate a lot of food I cooked. Let me tell you about my princess, The Hembree girls are 5 and 3. We had fashion shows and did make up and played house while their parents went on a vacation. The Evan’s children are all adopted with special needs. Yes all four of them, from the ages of 12 to 3. The two oldest ones have speaking and hearing disabilities, the nine year old boy has ADHD and the youngest girl can not see hear or speak it is like taking care of a big baby. Through all of this we still had fun, we spent hours in the pool, or coloring and making treats. We all had to work together but we did it!
