Hi! I’m Courtney. I’ve always had a calling to care for others and have over 20 years of experience taking care of kids. Starting at age 11, I nannied for a family every summer until I graduated. Throughout HS, I lifeguarded and taught swimming lessons, taught Sunday School for a couple years, assisted with elementary art classes, and as a college student taught pottery classes to kids at a local art center. I’’m CPR certified, have over 10 years experience working in healthcare as a CNA and have raised my own daughter who is now 14. I’m transitioning out of CNA work during this time and feel working with kids would be good for my soul. I love being interactive with kids by: being creative/artistic, reading, playing outside, and even doing mundane things, like teaching kids how to do chores or other tasks appropriate for their age.
