About me
I am an experienced, high energy babysitter/nanny who is creative with crafts and activities for the children in my care but also understands that that every situation requires a little bit of a different approach. I love yoga, soccer, animals, parks, art, craft activities, volunteering and kids. I volunteered for the Little Lighthouse, food pantry's, and the Moore tornado releif. I carry a nanny bag with me everywhere that has books, toys, crafts, and games in case things get boring. I love to come up with fun and interesting educational activities.

Selected Accomplishments
-experience working with children for over 10 years
-worked with a variety of disabilites(up to 3 disabled children at a time), large groups/families, adopted children, newborn-young teen, twins, etc…
-Am adult and infant CPR/AED/ First Aide certification.

Education
•Diploma from Jenks Public High School in Jenks, OK
•Some college at Oklahoma State University and Tulsa Community College with plans to return to college in the fall of 2014 for a nursing degree.

Work History:
The Stevens Family 2 children of divorced parents living with mom. Age 7 and 9. Oldest had severe ADHD. I was a date night/summer day babysitter for about 2 years before they moved from 2000-2002.

The Little Lighthouse as a teachers aide. It was a school for handicapped children, ages 4-6. We did everything from organizing events, helped children complete daily tasks, helped with physical therapy sessions, janitorial, some office work, etc… I worked there the summers of 2003 and 2004.

The Donahue Family 4 children(ages 10mo, 3yrs,5yrs, 7yrs when I started). I was their babysitter from 2002-2007. I did date nights, mom was a cardiac icu nurse and when she was on call so was I, some overnight care, homework help, light cleaning, etc. They moved when I went to college.

Lord’s and Ladies Daycare in the 1 year old room but I filled in some mornings in the infant room and occasionally watched the 2 year old room as well. I had six 1 year olds by myself 5 days a week and the infant room had anywhere from 2-5 infants. I handled meals, potty training in the 1 and 2 year old room, age appropriate activities, etc. I worked there for almost a year from 2004-2005

Seeking Sitters as a contract babysitter. I worked for hundreds of families in different situations. This is where I gained most of my experience with large groups, twins, disabilities(hypoglycemia, autism, ADHD, and PTSD in a 10 yr old after a difficult divorce). I still work for them and started July 2010.
Pardue Family as a babysitter for her pre-teen from 2011-2012. watched her on school breaks, after school and during the summers.
Taylor Family as an emergency babysitter. I watched her 4 year old when her 2 year old had his leukemia treatment or when he was admitted to the hospital. I also watched both boys in the hospital occasionally so Sara Taylor(mom) could take care of necessities without leaving the 2 year old alone. While I watched him I had to supervise his play to make sure his port, IV stand and medical equipment, try to get him to eat(you had to be creative due to the chemo), and know when to call for medical attention. I watched the 4 year old some times for up to 2 weeks at a time, round the clock care.

Rachel babysit our kids this week and they had a great time! She was very involved in playtime, meals and crafts and the kids even made us little books while we were away. We feel fortunate to have found Rachel and know our kids are going to be a lot of fun and an active babysitter to play with when she's here!
