Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look over my profile. I have been caring for children since I was a child myself. I have a sister who is eight years younger than me, and I spent much of my time as a teenager taking care of her and babysitting her many friends. In school, I tutored other students in English, math, and science during my free time. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mother to a sweet and precocious two-year-old girl. I hold a substitute teaching license through the State of Colorado, and I am also pursuing my elementary educator license. I want to make a positive impact in the lives and education of young learners. Before having my child, I worked in several different fields including banking, finance, retirement services, and teaching English to children in South Korea. I have always loved spending time with children. I Read more am passionate about helping them learn and grow through play, exploration, movement, reading, conversation, and song. I enjoy learning each individual child's talents and personality, and I strive to appreciate and nurture the whole child while providing the best care possible. I am a very caring, compassionate, creative, nurturing, flexible, and responsible person. I have previously been certified in CPR and first aid, and will be getting my certification again.
