Having entered the field of care-providing at age 11 in the role of a babysitter, I have enjoyed the past 24 years of providing fun, safe, creative, conscientious, loving care to well over 40 children (including infants) and 20 adults. I find satisfaction in offering quality care that adds to the well-being of a person (child or adult) on all levels through encouraging healthy nutrition, rest, exercise, outdoor excursions, games, reading, crafts, music, song, ample humor and laughter, and inclusion in appropriate household tasks depending on a person’s abilities. For some reason, I enjoy helping to manage other people’s households. I thrive while multitasking and derive satisfaction from successfully meeting each day’s goals on the to-do-list, e.g. laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, dishes, kid pick-ups/drop-offs, and other errands. As a musician and singing teacher, I often sing throughout my day.
