I have over 15 years of experience working with children. I am a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with young children, but am currently taking a sabbatical from my career in that field. I have worked with all ages - infants through high school - but have the most experience with school-aged, 5-12 year old children. I have a patient, compassionate, and gentle presence and am skilled at drumming up creative activities for children. I enjoy helping children to connect with the natural world and develop their own unique strengths and abilities. I have a great deal of experience working with children who have extreme emotional and behavioral challenges - tantrums, no matter how dramatic, do not intimidate me!
