Most of my career (over 30 years) has been in the field of dental hygiene. This past year I worked as a Paraprofessional in Special Education in the Thompson School District. I found the position to be very challenging but also rewarding and I thoroughly enjoyed working with the children in the classroom and keeping up with them on the playground! I am an older mom of a 13 year old boy who has special needs so earlier hours in the day would be ideal for me so that I would be able to pick my son up from school by 2:50pm - although I could arrange for him to be picked up by his older brother or a friend when needed. I do have current CPR Training that I renew every two years.
