It is really upsetting to give this review but we were really disappointed with our lasting impression of Toni. We had some miscommunication in the beginning which I wrote off hoping that it was an honest mistake. However, communication and reliability was a big problem for us with Toni. When she showed up, she was great with the kids. I didn't have any issues with her taking care of the kids or even cleaning picking up the house. The biggest problem was response time to text messages in days, getting scheduled days wrong and then completely ghosting our family which was the most hurtful of all. When you introduce your kids to a new caretaker, they get attached. They consider that person a friend and they get confused and hurt when that person leaves without saying bye or not showing up to play with them. She did at least help us get a nanny to cover 1 of her days so I wasn't completely screwed for that one day. Nevertheless the way she "quit" was after that never returning a text message to me and not showing up for the several days I had her scheduled for. Ghosting is not an acceptable communication method.
