I was basically thrust into the world of babysitting when I was 10 years old. My neighbors ran a daycare center and I became their "mommy's helper". At age 13, I became the babysitter at our local gym on Saturday mornings and continued that for a few years. At age 16, I worked at a local daycare, Kiddie Academy, in the infant room and cared for babies aged 6 weeks-12 months. When I was 18, I found a family near my college and became their designated babysitter for the next four years. I cared for two little boys, whom when I started were about 18 months and three years. I have always had a passion for caring for children. I have a full time, Tuesday-Saturday work schedule and I currently have some free time on my hands during the weeknights and all day Sundays and Mondays and I cannot think Read more of a better way to spend it.
