I am Marta Paula, a 32-year-old military wife and mother of a beautiful toddler boy (DOB 11-03-14) and two energetic fur-baby girls. My husband is detaching from the NAVY and we are moving to Denver area in July 2016. I am looking for a position where I can take my son with me. He is a energetic, sweet and funny little boy who loves to be outdoors, books, music, swim, children and dogs. I speak English and Portuguese fluently and a little bit of Spanish. I have lots of experience as a babysitter/nanny. I've worked with infants, toddlers and preschoolers, in both home care and preschool settings. I absolutely love being around children, any age. My duties are mostly to interact/play with children, supervise homework, read books, crafts, drop offs and pickups to/from school or other extracurricular activities, drive to zoo, museum, aquarium, cook and feed, bath and put in Read more bed. I choose to work with children because I found out that I LOVE being around them. As a childcare provider, I have learn many things from children and families. Children are pure and honest, and that is all that matter to care for them with so much love like I do. My philosophy of education is children learn though play. As a caregiver, I'd like to provide a lot of opportunities for children to explore and discover new things by providing a safe and attractive environment for them. I discipline children the same way as parents do. I try to give them a predictable and stable routine to make the transitions as smooth as possible. I have my own car, non-smoker, healthy and energetic. I eat mostly health food and I exercise often. I love outdoors, especially going on walks. I enjoy quiet time by reading or drawing/painting.
