I have been a professional substitute teacher in the public school system for many years. Now retired, I wish to use the accumulated knowledge and experience with children to help children to reach their full potential. I feel I can best accomplish this goal by working with and tutoring the children. I realize the importance of getting children to have a positive attitute toward school. Reading to/with them and introducing them to age-appropriate academically-geared games can help them to like school. It is important to exercise their cognitive skills as well as their physical skills. I have earned a C.D.A. as well as a prorvisional teaching degree and a MS in special education. Now to put these skills to work!
