Hello, my name is Diana and I'd like to share my educational and employment background with you, as well as a bit about my personal life. My background is in Early Childhood Education, and I was a preschool teacher for many years.  For the past five years I have worked as a childcare provider. I have experience with children ranging in age from birth to fifteen. My childcare positions have been primarily morning and afternoon care. For the morning positions I would make breakfast, prepare lunches, do light household chores and get the children ready for school. In the afternoons I would drive to activities, help with homework, prepare dinner and if needed get the children ready for bed. If time allowed I would do creative projects with them and play games. With the children in my care I am kind, caring, nurturing and have always developed a close rapport Read more with them. They say I am lots of fun and have always considered me part of their family. As for my work ethics I am stable, punctual, reliable, and conscientious.    About my family,  I have one daughter who is currently attending college in North Carolina. I reside in Fairfield and live with my favorite canine companion, Willow.  Our long walks in the woods or on the beach are one of the most enjoyable parts of my day.   Traveling and music are two of my greatest passions.  I have done a fair amount of traveling over the years and appreciate the opportunity to explore other cultures and landscapes. My favorite music is traditional jazz and blues.  Other interests include yoga, hiking, camping, horseback riding, skiing and gardening. I look forward to sharing my passions and love of nature with the children I care for.
