I am a first year college student at a University and I can honestly say that some of my favorite jobs/work experiences have been related to children. I have had previous steady babysitting jobs for all of my high school years and some middle school years, which I have greatly enjoyed. In addition, my mom is a preschool teacher, so I have helped out at her place of work for many years. I have also taught CCD classes for a few years where I taught my students valuable lessons while also making it fun. While my major is currently undecided, I am leaning towards an elementary school teacher because of how much working with children means to me. When babysitting, I like to connect with the children by doing fun activities such as outdoor games, crafts, puzzles, books, and more. I always make sure that the children are having fun, Read more and occasionally even learning too. Taking care of children has always been something that I have enjoyed, and something that I am excited to continue doing!
