I worked at Suncatchers, which is an after-school day care center for kids from kindergarten to eighth grade. I volunteered there during my freshman and sophomore years of high school and then worked there my junior and senior years. I also have a younger sister who is currently 10 years old, which is 9. 5 years younger than myself so I have experience with babies, infants, younger children and preteens. This past summer I worked at a summer day camp with children going into kindergarten through the eighth-grade. Each day the children went to a skill area such as swimming, boating, art and crafts, or wilderness. They also did a camp overnight every other week so I have experience with camping. Through that camp I was certified in First-Aid, CPR, AED, and Epi-pen. During the school year I babysit two boys, aged 11 and 15, during the week. I am a psychology student right now and am passionate about working with children and helping them grow.
